I am a maker. I have been knitting for 25+ years, quilting for 20+ years, and practicing mental health advocacy for almost 10 years. I also crochet, 3D print, and dabble in many other crafts.

I love taking people’s ideas and turning them into a reality. Want a fabric insert for a weird shaped silverware basket? I can make that. Want a scarf with pockets? You bet! Want a picture of a combination Taco Bell/Pizza Hut turned into an ornament? Sure, why not?

In additional to making things, mental health advocacy is a big priority in my life. It’s important to me that people understand what mental health concerns are (and are not!), that it’s okay to talk about mental health, and how to get help if they need it.

My philosophy about making

I make things that people will use. I offer a lifetime warranty on almost all items, so if something gets a rip or a tear, I will absolutely try to fix it, no matter how long ago you bought it. If something needs a repair, I know it’s getting used and loved.

Almost all of my knit/crochet items are made with washable yarns and have been through the washer and dryer prior to your purchase. That way you are confident you can wear and launder the items without fear.

Handmade items are not so precious that they must be set aside for special occasions. I want you to wear it, wash it, hug it, travel with it, touch it, and most importantly, love it.
