MHM 2022 - Mental Health Check-In

It’s important to check in on your own mental health on a regular basis. It doesn’t have to be a full inventory, but take a minute (literally, just 1 minute) to think about your mood. Are things going well, or are you struggling a little? Is it time to reach out and you hadn’t really been thinking about it? Is there a small thing you can do to improve your mood? Take that minute to perform some sort of self-care action.

You don’t even have to write anything down, simply being aware of your moods can help you monitor so if something starts to be a problem, you can catch it ahead of time. You can try to check in with yourself daily, or even just weekly. Maybe set a reminder on your phone at a time when you are less likely to be distracted by other things.
